HOMER SIMPSON’S ASSASSINS SNEAKERS ARE NOW A REAL THING

During the second season of The Simpsons, way back in the 1990s, an episode was focused on some high-end sneakers that Homer was obsessed with, called the Assassins. The Assassins featured velcro straps, a water pump in the tongue, a built-in pedometer, reflective sidewalls and little vanity license plates.

Well, those sneakers — which were once just a prop on a cartoon — are now available to purchase.

RETRO clothing is now offering The Simpsons’ Assassins into shoes you can actually buy. The design looks pretty accurate. Unfortunately, anyone who buys the shoes — at a retail price of $180 — won’t get the water pump or the pedometer.
