BRING ON THE BEAR MEAT VENDING MACHINE!
Commuters who ride the bullet train in Japan can stop in the city of Semboku and visit a vending machine at the station that offers hunks of bear meat.
This bear meat vending machine sells the meat from locally slaughtered bears for $17 a serving – which is about a half-pound.
According to someone behind the scenes over there, bear meat “tastes clean, and it doesn’t get tough, even when cold,” adding, “It can be enjoyed in a wide range of dishes, from stew to steaks.”
