Parasite in filet-o-fish?

–No one ever wants to take a bite of food, and find something unexpected. Especially THIS!
A McDonald’s customer bit into a Filet-O-Fish, and found a WORM. Then, they grossed out the internet by sharing a photo of it. They said they were “pretty disgusted,” and reported it to the Department of Health.
But it’s unlikely that they’ll do anything, because it’s a parasite commonly found in fish, and experts say it’s safe to eat, assuming it was cooked properly. (McDonald’s deep fries their Filet-O-Fish, so that should be plenty hot.) In the comments, people said that this is even a GOOD thing, because it shows that McDonald’s is using real fish, for anyone worried about that.
And a “former fishmonger” said, “Congratulations on finding a nematode! If you’ve ever eaten wild-caught seafood either fresh or frozen, then you’ve more than likely eaten a nematode before! It’s normal and doesn’t present any risk.”
