There’s a new champion in the competitive world of mustache growing. A South Carolina man named Paul Slosar recently had his lip foliage measured at two feet, one inch long at the National Beard and Mustache Championships in Casper, Wyoming.

The length of his hairy snot mop was long enough to earn him the Guinness World Record for the longest mustache on a living person.

Slosar says he’s had a mustache for 30 years and had trimmed it at one point. But after his wife complained that his shorter whiskers made kissing him uncomfortable, he decided to let it grow out.
