Looking Back is fun, and makes us feel old. I was just tossing memories of songs from my youth around last night with the girlfriend so I thought, “Hey! Let’s make everyone else feel old too!”

One year ago – In 2017, Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.  It has over 3.3 BILLION YouTube views.

 

Five years ago – In 2013, Thrift Shop by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis was #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.  The uncensored version has 1.1 BILLION YouTube views.  Harlem Shake by Baauer was #1.

 

10 years ago – In 2008, Love In This Club by Usher (featuring Young Jeezy) was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

15 years ago – In 2003, In Da Club by 50 Cent was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

20 years ago – In 1998, Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It by Will Smith was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
