7th Annual Matthews Auto Walkathon to benefit local kid’s charities!

It’s time for the 7th Annual Matthews Auto Walkathon to benefit local kid’s charities including GiGi’s Playhouse, Handicapped Children’s Assocation (HCA), Mom’s House, Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, Guthrie/Lourdes Camp Hope for Kids, A Room To Heal, Child Advocacy Center of Chenango County and new this year, The Children’s Home. Our goal is to raise $150,000 this year! The Walkathon is Saturday October 4th from 7:30am to 6:30pm at the Vestal Rail Trail and also at Weiler Park in Norwich from 9-2 which also includes a petting zoo, kid’s games and food trucks. As always, Matthews will pay $10 for every mile walked to the charity of choice or you can choose to divide your miles amongst them all. All you have to do is register at MatthewsWalkathon.com and tell us how many miles you will walk, and they are on the honor system to do so, either in person or virtually. Plus Matthews will match all cash donations up to $12,500… and NEW THIS YEAR, we will DOUBLE any cash donation from $200 to $500 with a Matthews Cash Voucher, good towards a vehicle purchase good for one year. So, if you know anyone thinking about buying in the next year and they make a $200 donation they get $400 back in Matthews Cash off their next vehicle (max voucher is $1000 for a $500 donation).
