On Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm, the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra will host its 9th Annual Mac & Cheese Fest fundraiser, this year at a new venue, the DoubleTree Hotel in Downtown Binghamton. Guests can sample and vote on delicious Mac & Cheese offerings from more than 20 local restaurants, including: Mooney’s, The Brickyard, Fat Cowboys Hitching Post, Caribbean Patty World, Sweetay’s, Alexander’s, Legacy Lounge, The Park Diner, Calzone Broz, Kampai, Frank’s Italian, Leonardo’s Wine Bar, 205 Dry, Courtside Bar and Grill, Big Zue’s BBQ, Pasquale’s, R&B Soul Food, The Grove, Downtown by Jay Pisculli, Stadium 138, Flaming Bag Catering, and more.

Celebrity judges – including local television personalities Roy Santa Croce, Ziggy Hill, and Lauren del Valle; Binghamton University Cheese Club President Brooke Smith; mosaic artist Emily Jablon; Philharmonic Music Director Maestro Daniel Hege; and Chelsea Cheddar, Former Mayor of Macaroni – preside over the awarding of Best Mac & Cheese and other honors. Tickets are just $25 for an all-you-can-eat evening of cheesy goodness! All proceeds support the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra. About the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra
Founded by Fritz and Marianne Wallenberg in 1955 at the Binghamton Symphony and Choral Society and later merging with the B.C. Pops, an orchestra founded by David Agard and Russell Hawkes, the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra presents an annual series of classical, pops, and chamber music concerts in Downtown Binghamton and throughout Broome County. The professional musicians of the Philharmonic, represented by Local 380 of the American Federation of Musicians, hail from the Southern Tier, New York City, and surrounding states. Maestro Daniel Hege was appointed Music Director in 2018.
