Prospect Mountain Project Traffic Update
Starting on Tuesday, November 7 through Thursday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. I-81/Rout 17 West will be reduced to one lane between Fairview Avenue and the I-81 North/Route 17 West split for overhead sign structure work. The right two lanes will be closed.
Beginning on Tuesday, November 7 through Thursday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. I-81North will be reduced to one lane between the I-81 North/Route 17 West split and Exit 5 (Front Street) for overhead bridge work the Front Street Bridger over I-81.
Starting on Tuesday, November 7 through Thursday, November 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. I-81 South will be reduced to one lane between Exit 6 (Chenango Bridge/Nimmonsburg) and Exit 4 S-N (Binghamton/Port Dickinson) for overhead bridge work on the Front Street Bridge over I-81. The left two lanes will be closed.
Beginning on Monday November 6 through Friday, November 10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. flaggers will direct motorists on Sowden Street as noise wall work is performed.
Starting on Monday November 6 through Friday, November 10 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. flaggers will direct motorists on Broad Avenue at the I-81/Route 17 overpass while overhead bridge work on the new I-81 South/Route 17 East Bridge is performed.
Beginning on Monday, November 6 through Friday, November 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be periodic, alternating lane closures on State Route 7 South between Bevier Street and Frederick Street for excavation and embankment work in the area of the I-81 Exit 4 Interchange. Overhead bridge work on the new I-81 South/Route 17 East Bridge over Route 7 will also be performed.
